Highway 7 Resurfacing Begins May 13

     

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will begin resurfacing Highway 7 from just east of Highway 41 in SHOREWOOD/CHANHASSEN to County Road 19 in EXCELSIOR at 7 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2002.

Motorists will see traffic reduced to a single eastbound and westbound lane during the life of the project, except during rush-hour travel. Both eastbound lanes will remain open during morning rush hour, and both westbound lanes will remain open during afternoon rush hour.

Weather permitting, crews expect to have this resurfacing project completed by
June 1, 2002.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. Please join us in a safety partnership.
