News Release

April 11, 2002

Portion of Northbound, Southbound
Highway 100 Reduced to Single Lane

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close northbound Highway 100 between 39th Ave. N. and County Road 81 at 9 a.m. on April 15, 2002.

Northbound Highway 100 traffic will be diverted to one of the southbound Highway 100 lanes at 39th Ave. N.

Northbound and southbound Highway 100 traffic will share the southbound Highway 100 lanes between County Road 81 and 39th Ave. N. Traffic will flow one lane in each direction through these two points.

Mn/DOT expects northbound Highway 100 to re-open between 39th Ave. N. and County Road 81 on May 1, 2002.

This unexpected closure is needed as crews relocate a water main that runs beneath the roadway.

Mn/DOT urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them to SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. Please join us in a safety partnership.
