Night-Time I-94 Lane Closures to Take Effect March 20

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close lanes of I-94 overnight at 3rd Ave. South (Avenue of the Arts) in Minneapolis beginning at 8 p.m. on March 20.

These lane closures are necessary so that crews may finalize work to the 3rd Ave. bridge's artistic fascia. Lane closures will begin on westbound I-94 and switch to eastbound I-94 around Apr. 3.

The lane closures will extend from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Friday from March 20 to Apr. 12 when crews expect to have the project completed.

Mn/DOT urges motorists to drive with caution during this closure and reminds them to SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
