HIGHWAY 36 CLOSED EVENINGS NEXT TWO WEEKS FOR RESURFACING BETWEEN I-694 AND HIGHWAY 5

(Roseville, Minn.) - As resurfacing continues on Highway 36 between Oakdale and Stillwater, the highway will close weeknights in the eastbound direction next week and the westbound direction the following week between I-694 and Highway 5. Weather permitting, Highway 36 will close each night from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning, Sunday night through Friday morning for the next two weeks.

Motorists will also encounter day and nighttime lane closures Monday through Friday for paving on the roadway between Highway 5 and Highway 95. At least one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction through this area.

During nighttime closures, traffic will detour on I-694 to Highway 5 to avoid the workzone.

Resurfacing of this section of Highway 36 should be finished by the end of June.
