LANE RESTRICTIONS AND CLOSURE PLANNED FOR HIGHWAY 100 IN ST. LOUIS PARK

(Roseville, Minn.) -- Beginning on Monday, June 12, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will restrict the southbound lanes of Highway 100 to a single lane from just north of Excelsior Boulevard to 44th Avenue.

This restriction will allow crews to removed and replace the existing concrete pavement. Weather permitting, this project will be completed by June 27.

On Friday, June 16, beginning at 8:00 p.m. the southbound lanes of Highway 100 will be closed to traffic until 8:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17 to allow crews to pave this roadway. A signed detour will direct motorists west on Highway 7 to Highway 169, south on Highway 169 to Highway 62 and then east on Highway 62 back to southbound Highway 100.

Mn/DOT asks motorists to join in a safety partnership and drive with caution in work zones, allow for extra time or plan an alternate route to reach their destinations.
