RESURFACING, GUARD RAIL REPAIR AND DRAINAGE WORK UNDERWAY ON HIGHWAY 52 (Roseville, Minn.) - A project to resurface the roadway, repair guardrail and improve drainage along a five-mile stretch of Highway 52 between Highway 50 and Dakota County Road 86 in Hampton began this morning. Work started on the southbound lanes just south of the Highway 50 bridge, which also is under construction. When work is completed on the southbound lanes in mid-June, crews will switch to the northbound roadway and move north toward the Highway 50 bridge. Resurfacing beneath Highway 50 will be completed in August following completion of work on the bridge. Motorists should watch for non-rush hour daytime lane closures throughout the project. The workzone speed limit of 50 miles-per-hour is being enforced by the Minnesota State Patrol. Weather permitting, work will be completed by late August. We're in the Work Zone Together |
