EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS OVERNIGHT ON 66TH STREET IN RICHFIELD FOR INTERSTATE 35W BRIDGE WORK (Roseville, Minn.) - Motorists should use alternate routes to avoid delays on 66th Street (Hennepin County Road 53) underneath Interstate 35W in Richfield between 10 p.m. tonight and 4 a.m. tomorrow morning. Drivers can expect delays of more than 15 minutes at a time as crews set arches for the new northbound I-35W bridge over 66th Street. Richfield Police will assist the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) with traffic control. Traffic on 66th Street is currently one lane in each direction on the westbound side of the street in the vicinity of the bridge work. The ramp from 66th Street to northbound I-35W also remains closed. Weather permitting, construction of the new bridge is expected to be finished by late fall. We're in the Work Zone Together |
