Wi-Fi in the Library

Wi-Fi Internet access is now available in the library for employees and external partners. Customers may get a valid Wi-Fi login by asking library staff. The login will allow access to the Wi-Fi for 8 hours after which a new login must be issued.

The installation of Wi-Fi access in the library is part of a larger initiative to enhance the workspace in the library for MnDOT staff as well as local transportation officials.  It provides a functional landing space for MnDOT District employees to use before and between meetings at the Central Office.

The Wi-Fi network allows customers to access MnDOT approved social networking and collaboration tools as well as streaming media. Customers have already used this service to access technical videos and sound files they need for their work. Remember to bring a flash drive if you will be downloading information.

Customers can connect to the Wi-Fi with any wireless enabled device. There is one PC that is also connected to the Wi-Fi network.
