Traffic Management Using ITS During Major Urban Reconstruction

Project Description

Time is a significant commodity in a large scale, fast paced urban reconstruction project, such as the I-35W & TH62 project. This project has developed an approach to address both planned and unplanned traffic situations occurring during reconstruction. The proposed team of professionals have strategies and tools to respond to the situation quickly and therefore provide increased safety to motorists and construction personnel by utilizing a toolbox of knowledge and equipment from the ITS Industry.
