FIRST AVL

Project Description

This project provides an Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system for the Freeway Incident Response Safety Team (FIRST) that will allow Dispatchers at the Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) the ability to track FIRST vehicle location to increase dispatching efficiency and provide safety for FIRST operators.  It will allow FIRST staff to electronically file action reports, and will allow for potential upgrades to increase FIRST efficiency, safety, and information available to the RTMC.
