The TED Application Period for 2013 is finished

 

 

 

Eligible Applicant

• Eligible applicant must be a governmental entity
• Private entities are not eligible, however, they may enter into an agreement with an eligible applicant to request funding for qualified public transportation projects

 

Eligible Project
An eligible project must support one or more of the following industries:

• Manufacturing
  
• Technology
  
• Warehousing and Distribution
  
• Research and Development
  
• Agricultural Processing
  
• Bioscience
  
• Tourism and Recreation
  
• Industrial Park or Multimodal Developments

 

Funding
Applicable projects will be divided up into two groups:

 

• Twin Cities Metro
• Greater Minnesota

Each project will compete for funding among the other projects in their group. The maximum amount any one project can receive is $7 million

Application Process Timeline

 

The application process will continue according to the following timeline.

 

1. February 26, 2013
   Solicitation announcement distributed
2. February-April 2013
   Applications prepared (MnDOT and the Department of Employment and Economic Development will offer guidance)
3. April 30, 2013
   Applications due to MnDOT
4. June 6, 2013
   Projects selected and approved
5. June to November 2013
   Project status monitored by MnDOT and DEED to develop final cost-share agreements, ensuring both progress and program compliance
