This weekend's major traffic impacts (April 11-14)

We schedule a lot of our work on weekends or at night when there is less traffic to lessen the impact to commuters. Information on this page is frequently updated. Please continue to check this page for the latest information.

 

Fully closed

Hwy 62 between Hwy 100 and I-35W, Xerxes Ave Bridge and ramps

Hwy 62 between Hwy 100 and I-35W in Minneapolis and Edina will be closed so crews can demolish the Xerxes Avenue bridge deck. The highway will reopen by 5 a.m., Monday, April 14. Lanes/ramps closed

I-35E in St. Paul

Hwy 36/Hilton Trail

Hilton Trail to westbound Hwy 36 is closed until Tuesday, April 30. For more details visit the Hwy 36/Hilton Trail project website.

Hwy 52 and Lafayette Bridge in St. Paul

Southbound Hwy 52 has single lane traffic until 9 p.m., Sunday, April 20. There are multiple ramp closures in the area. For more details visit the Lafayette Bridge and Hwy 52 website.

Hwy 61 between the north end of the River Bridge and just south of Hwy 10

Both directions of Hwy 61 between the north end of the River Bridge and just south of Hwy 10 will be single lane. The closed lanes will reopen at 7 p.m., Friday, April 11. Hwy 96 between Hamline Avenue and I-35W
