About this Project
This project will reconstruct I-35, increase safety and reduce maintenance. Improvements include:
- Replacing pavement
- Bridge work, including replacing three fracture critical bridges and removing unused bridges
- Safety features including replacing barriers and adding shoulders
- Improving drainage
- Installing Intelligent Transportation System components for improved emergency communications.
The contractor is the joint venture of Arrowhead 35 Constructors (Lunda Construction of Black River Falls, Wisconsin and PCI Roads of St. Michael, Minnesota).
