Design-Build

Hwy 371 four lane expansion

SP 1810-92, Letting October 2015

Project purpose, benefits

The purpose of this project is to improve safety, reduce congestion, and eliminate design deficiencies on northern TH 371.  Specifically, the project includes the expansion of Highway 371 to a four-lane divided roadway on its existing alignment from just north of CSAH 18 in Nisswa to just south of CR 107/168 in Pequot Lakes. At that point, Highway 371 will be reconstructed on a new alignment extending along the east edge of the downtown Pequot Lakes area. The bypass continues north and converges with the existing Highway 371 alignment approximately 1.5 miles south of the existing CSAH 16 intersection.  The project ends just north of CSAH 16 in Jenkins.
