Willmar, Minn. - Improvements planned for Highway 55 between Eden Valley and Kimball will begin on Monday (April 26) and continue until June 1, according to officials at the Minnesota Department of Transportation office in Willmar.

The project will be completed under traffic and flag personnel will direct motorists through the work zone.  Motorists are asked to slow down and give workers room to work.  Mn/DOT”s work zone safety message is See Orange.  We’re in the WORK ZONE Together.  

Improvements include a bituminous mill and overlay, joint and culvert repair, and turn lanes.  Duininck Bros., Inc., of Prinsburg, Minn., is the prime contractor of the $1.6 million project.
