Concrete repair work in Redwood Falls begins July 24
WILLMAR, Minn. — Work to repair concrete panels in Redwood Falls will begin Monday, July 24. Concrete on Hwy 19/US 71 between the Redwood River Bridge to Swain Street and on US 71 from 11th Street to 2nd Street will receive spot repair. The project will not require a detour, but will include alternating lane closures. Motorists should anticipate short delays.
Construction is expected to be finished, weather permitting, by August 5. A width limit of 11 feet and weight limit of 80,000 pounds will be in effect.
Interstate Improvement, Inc. is the contractor on the project.
MnDOT asks motorists to slow down and pay attention while driving through work zones. Motorists who speed through a work zone or who disobey work zone flaggers face a $300 fine.
