Seasonal Posting Exception issued for Hwy 277 north of Gluek

WILLMAR, Minn. – A Seasonal Posting Exception of five tons has been issued for Highway 277 (Gluek to Highway 40) starting Monday, February 13, 2017.  Normally, spring load restrictions go into place in March, but due to warm weather predictions the decision was made to post the five ton load limit early.

The ending dates for load restrictions are based on how weather is affecting roadway strength.  These dates are established by monitoring roadway strength as weather conditions change.  Therefore, the ending dates for load restrictions are variable.
