Resurfacing of Hwy 19 west of Redwood Falls starts July 5

WILLMAR, Minn. – A resurfacing project on Highway 19 west of Redwood Falls starts Tuesday, July 5.  The project, which includes a 3 inch mill and 3 inch overlay, will resurface 15 miles of Highway 19 from the Jct of Highway 67 and Highway 19 to west of the bridge in Redwood Falls.

This project also includes Americans with Disabilities work at the intersections of Highway 19 at N Drury Street and Highway 19 at N Grove St.  Curb cuts and truncated domes will be installed to meet ADA standards.

The project will be done under traffic utilizing flaggers.  Travelers can expect lane closures and short delays. 

Duininck, Inc. is the contractor on the project.          

Motorists are urged to drive with caution in work zones and to slow down when workers are present.
