Orange barrels on a highway

Hwy 275/212 resurfacing projects scheduled

Willmar, Minn.  – Motorists traveling on Hwy 275 near Boyd will encounter lane closures beginning Tuesday, Sept. 17 as crews resurface Hwy 275 from Boyd to the junction of Hwy 212.

When this project is completed, crews will move resurfacing operations to Hwy 212, from just south of Hwy 29 to the Minnesota River, near Montevideo.

A pilot car and flaggers will control traffic through these work zones.

Bituminous Paving Inc. is the contractor for both projects, totaling over $1.2 million.  The work is scheduled for completion by late September, weather permitting.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
