Culvert replacement on Hwy 75 near Trosky begins Aug. 14

Motorists to follow signed detour  

Willmar, Minn.  -- Motorists traveling on Hwy 75 south of Trosky will encounter a detour beginning Aug. 14., according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.  The closure is necessary for crews to replace two culverts. 
Northbound travelers will be routed west on 1st St./Rock County Road 12/ Pipestone County Road 1, then north on 70th Ave./County Road 15, and east on 41st St./County Road 2.  Southbound motorists will take 41st St./County Road 2 west to 70th Ave./County Road 15 south to 1st St./Rock County Road 12/Pipestone County Road 1 east.  The detours will remain in effect until the project is completed in early November.

MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
