Hwy 40 resurfacing near Milan begins June 7
WILLMAR, Minn. — Motorists will encounter lane closures beginning Friday, June 7, as crews resurface Highway 40 from Highway 119 to Highway 7 near Milan.
Crews will resurface Highway 40 with 1.5 inches of pavement. A pilot car and flaggers will control traffic through the work zone.
Duininck Inc. is the contractor for the $897,019 project, which will be complete near the end of June, weather permitting. When the project is complete motorists will experience a smoother ride and safer highway.
Motorists should always drive with caution, slowdown in work zones and never enter a road or lane blocked with barriers or cones.
