Load limit posted on Hwy 40 bridge near Chippewa County Road 3
WILLMAR, Minn. – Sugar beet haulers are advised that a Hwy 40 bridge, 18 miles west of Willmar, has been posted at 26 tons per single unit vehicle and 40 tons per combination unit vehicle. The bridge is located near the Murdock Piling site, three miles east of Hwy 277 and a half-mile west of Chippewa County Road 3.
The bridge’s steel beams require reinforcement.
It is anticipated that the load posting will be removed once the repairs are in place.
