Hwy 15 bridge construction will result in lane reduction near Kingston July 23
WILLMAR, Minn. — Motorists near Kingston will encounter delays as crews begin replacing a bridge barrier on Highway 15 Monday, July 23.
Stop signs will be installed and traffic will be reduced to a single lane during construction, while oversize permit restrictions will be reduced to 11 feet and 80,000 lbs.
The concrete log bridge barrier will be replaced with a concrete jersey barrier to increase safety for motorists. Work is expected to last three weeks, weather permitting.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slowdown in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
