Hwy 4 resurfacing between Cosmos and Fairfax begins July 23
WILLMAR, Minn. — Motorists will experience delays while traveling on Highway 4 from Cosmos to Fairfax beginning July 23 as crews begin resurfacing the road, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Flaggers and a pilot car will control traffic throughout the project to maintain safety of motorists and work crews.
Duininck Inc. is the contractor for the 28-mile, $2.37 million project, which will remove and replace the top 1.5 inches of pavement.
The project is separate from an earlier resurfacing project that took place in Hector on June 29.
Motorists will experience a smoother and safer road surface when the entire project is complete.
