Public meeting for Hwy 19 construction in Redwood Falls scheduled for May 7
WILLMAR, Minn. – Anyone interested in learning about the Hwy 19 resurfacing project from Swain Street to Quality Drive in Redwood Falls, is invited to an open house Monday, May 7, at 6 p.m. in the Public Health Building, 266 East Bridge St., Redwood Falls.
Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and McLaughlin and Schultz Inc., project contractor, will provide details and answer questions regarding the construction project.
The resurfacing project involves removing 3 inches of the existing pavement and replacing it with 3 inches of bituminous pavement, along with installing accessible pedestrian ramps and pushbuttons at Dekalb Street.
The project will begin May 14 and is scheduled to be complete by the end of May, weather permitting.
Motorists will experience a smoother and safer road surface when the project is complete.
