Public meetings about Hwy 212 project near Montevideo set for April 11, 12
WILLMAR, Minn. – The public is invited to learn more about the Hwy 212 resurfacing project near Montevideo at one of two public meetings on April 11 and 12.
Both meetings are scheduled for 6 - 8 p.m. The first meeting will be held Wednesday, April 11, at the Montevideo Community Center, 550 S. First St., Montevideo, Minn. The second meeting will be held Thursday, April 12, at Dawson City Hall, 675 Chestnut St., Dawson, Minn.
Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Duininck Inc. will be available to answer questions and provide information on the construction schedule and detour route.
The project locations are:
- Hwy 212 from Hwy 75 to the east end of Dawson; Lac Qui Parle County Road 35 to the east junction of Hwy 59
- Hwy 75 from one-half mile south to one mile north of Hwy 212
The project consists of grading, concrete paving and accessible pedestrian ramps.
