Hwy 212 in McLeod County to open late afternoon on Nov. 4
WILLMAR, Minn. – Hwy 212 will open to traffic on Nov. 4, late in the afternoon. Traffic has been detoured on Hwy 212 from Hwy 15 west of Brownton to Hwy 22 for the final stage of a resurfacing project.
The 28-mile project extended from Renville County Road 16 west of Hector to the start of the four-lane Hwy west of Glencoe. The project consisted of pavement resurfacing, new turn-lane construction and culvert lining.
The completed project will provide motorists with a smoother ride surface and safer highway.
Knife River Corp. is the prime contractor for the construction project.
