Lane closure on Hwy 12 in Willmar begins Oct. 17
WILLMAR, Minn. – The right lane of westbound traffic on Hwy 12 in Willmar will be closed beginning Monday, Oct. 17, weather permitting. This lane closure will extend from Third Street SW to Seventh Street SW.
Crews will be doing curb, gutter and manhole repair.
During construction and road maintenance work, The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges drivers to:
- Stay alert, expect the unexpected. Be patient.
- Never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
- Plan ahead and expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
- Don’t use cell phones while driving.
- Remember text messaging while driving is illegal.
- Follow posted speed limits; fines double in work zones.
