Accessibility improvements in Marshall begin May 2       

 

WILLMAR, Minn. - Motorists may encounter daytime shoulder and lane closures in Marshall as installation of new accessible pedestrian signals and countdown pedestrian indicators begins May 2 at:

 

Accessible pedestrian signals improve safety for individuals with hearing or sight impairments by providing directions in alternative formats using verbal messages, audible tones and vibrating surfaces. More information about the new signals can be found at www.dot.state.mn.us/signs/aps/ .


The project is expected to be completed in one week, weather permitting.

 

Motorists are reminded to drive with extreme caution through the work zones and watch for workers and equipment.
