Hwy 67, between Granite Falls and Yellow Medicine County Road 44 closing today at noon due to flooding
WILLMAR, Minn. - Mn/DOT and the Minnesota State Patrol will close Highway 67 between Granite Falls and Yellow Medicine County Road 44 today at Noon due to flooding.
Traffic will be detoured on Yellow Medicine County Road 18, Highway 274, Highway 23, to Highway 67. The highway segment will remain closed until further notice.
When a road is closed it is illegal to travel in that area. Motorists can be fined up to $1,000 and/or 90 days in jail. In addition, if travelers need to be rescued from a closed road, other expenses and penalties will apply.
