Hwy 212, between Montevideo and Granite Falls closing today at noon due to flooding
WILLMAR, Minn. - Mn/DOT and the Minnesota State Patrol will close Highway 212 between Montevideo and Granite Falls today at Noon due to flooding.
Traffic will be detoured on Highway 67, Highway 59, to Highway 212. The highway segment will remain closed until further notice.
When a road is closed it is illegal to travel in that area. Motorists can be fined up to $1,000 and/or 90 days in jail. In addition, if travelers need to be rescued from a closed road, other expenses and penalties will apply.
