Open house on Hwy 212 construction from Hector to Glencoe set for April 27
Construction begins May 16
WILLMAR, Minn. - Individuals interested in learning more about the Hwy 212 construction project from Hector to Glencoe are invited to attend an open house April 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Stewart Community Center, 551 Prior St., Stewart, Minn.
Mn/DOT staff will be available to discuss the project, which is scheduled to begin May 16. There will be a short presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The $14.3 million, 28.3-mile resurfacing project extends from Renville County Road 16 west of Hector to the start of the four-lane west of Glencoe. The project will be detoured in three stages and consists of resurfacing pavement, as well as constructing new turn lane and culvert liners. The project is scheduled for completion in early November 2011.
