Hwy 25 south of Watertown closed today due to flooding
WILLMAR, Minn. —(6:30 p.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol closed Hwy 25 south of Watertown around 6 p.m. today, March 26, due to flooding. The roadway is closed from Hwy 7 to Wright County Road 112.
The roadway is closed to through traffic, crews will be on site to monitor the berm and rising water and allow for emergency vehicle passage, if needed. Motorists are advised to use signed detour.

When a road is closed it is illegal to travel in that area. Motorists can be fined up to $1,000 and/or 90 days in jail. In addition, if travelers need to be rescued from a closed road, other expenses and penalties will apply.
