Highway 55 detour in Paynesville begins Jan. 24
WILLMAR, Minn. —Motorists will encounter a detour on Highway 55 in Paynesville from Kandiyohi County Road 6 to Highway 23 beginning Monday, Jan. 24, as crews place bridge beams for new bridges over Highway 55.The bridges are two of the eight bridges included in the Highway 23 Paynesville bypass project.
Highway 55 traffic will be detoured south on Kandiyohi County Road 6, east on Highway 23 to Highway 55. The detour will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Jan. 24-25, weather permitting.
