Railroad crossing project on Highway 91 south of Russell begins Oct. 18
Traffic will be detoured
Location
Highway 91 railroad crossing south of Russell in Lyon County.
Timeframe:
Project begins Monday, Oct. 18, with completion scheduled for Oct. 20, weather permitting.
Traffic Impact:
Highway 91 will be closed at the railroad crossing. Motorists will be detoured via Highway 23, Highway 14 to Highway 91.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and pay attention to detour signs.
Project Information:
Crews from the Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern Railroad will replace the wood plank railroad crossing with concrete.
