Update: Detour change on Highway 59 south of Clarkfield due to flooding
WILLMAR, Minn. – (11:00 a.m.) The detour for the shoulder widening project on Highway 59 south of Clarkfield has been extended approximately 4 miles further south on Yellow Medicine County Road 9 to Yellow Medicine County Road 10 due to flooding of Yellow Medicine County Road 3.
Highway 59 traffic is diverted west on Highway 67, south on Yellow Medicine County Road 9 to Yellow Medicine County Road 10, east to Highway 59.
Flooding is difficult to predict and roads may be closed or restricted without warning. Motorists are advised to check road conditions in advance of travel.
