Lane restrictions begin Aug. 30 on Highway 15 in Hutchinson between 5th Street and 6th Street
WILLMAR, Minn. — Motorists will encounter lane restrictions on Highway 15 in Hutchinson beginning Monday, Aug. 30 while city crews repair a water main on the south end of town.
The northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 15 will be shifted to the west. Southbound traffic will use the area normally used for parking and northbound traffic will use the lane normally used for southbound traffic.
The project is expected to be complete by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 31, weather permitting, however, the northbound lane will remain closed until Wednesday morning, Sept. 1.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
