Expect increased truck traffic on Highway 23 at the junctions with Highway 19 and Highway 59 in Marshall
WILLMAR, Minn. –Motorists will encounter an increase in truck traffic on Highway 23 at the junctions with Highway 19 and Highway 59 in Marshall.
The increase in truck traffic is due to the hauling of materials to and from the site for the new pedestrian underpass near Southwest State University and from the westbound lanes at the junction of Highway 19. The additional truck traffic is expected to continue until approximately August 1.
Motorists will also encounter increased truck traffic on Lyon County Road 9 east of Marshall and on Lyon County Road 59 north of Marshall during this time.
Mn/DOT reminds drivers to have patience, slow down, and be cautious of the increased truck traffic.
The project is expected to be completed on October 15, weather permitting.
