Mn/DOT schedules public open house for Highway 212 project May 5
WILLMAR, Minn. — Individuals interested in the Highway 212 Granite Falls concrete rehabilitation project are invited to attend an open house Wednesday, May 5, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Granite Falls Council Chambers, 641 Prentice St., in Granite Falls.
Minnesota Department of Transportation staff will provide a project overview and answer questions.
The concrete rehabilitation project extends east and west from the junction with Highway 212, Highway 67 and Highway 23 in Granite Falls to 2.3 miles east of Highway 23. The project includes removing the deteriorated concrete and replacing it with partial or full concrete panels. Highway 23 and Highway 212 traffic will be detoured.
Construction is scheduled to begin after July 4.
