Mn/DOT schedules public open house for Highway 23 / Paynesville bypass project
WILLMAR, Minn.- Individuals interested in the Highway 23 / Paynesville four-lane bypass project are invited to attend an open house on Tuesday, April 13, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Paynesville Council Chambers, 221 Washburne Ave. in Paynesville. The project is scheduled for construction in 2010.
Minnesota Department of Transportation staff and representatives from KGM Contractors, Inc. will be available to provide a project overview and answer questions.
The bypass project, which is north of Paynesville in Stearns County, extends from Kandiyohi County Road 6 to 263rd Avenue. The project is tentatively scheduled to begin in mid-April and includes grading, construction of eight bridges, surfacing and lighting.
