Highway 23 construction from Marshall to Cottonwood, will be completed Sept. 4
Detour will be lifted
WILLMAR, Minn. - Motorists can resume travel on Highway 23 from Marshall to Cottonwood on Friday, Sept. 4, weather permitting.
Highway 23 traffic has been detoured since early May to extend the four lanes and install lighting from north of Highway 19 in Marshall to north of Lyon County Road 33. The second portion of the project included a mill and overlay and lighting from one mile north of Lyon County Road 33 to north of Lyon County Road 24 south of Cottonwood. Passing lanes were also constructed along this segment of the project to improve safety.
