Completion of Highway 12 concrete rehabilitation project in Willmar is set for June 12
Detour will be lifted
WILLMAR, Minn. - Traffic along Highway 12 in Willmar will resume at noon Friday, June 12 when crews lift the detour that was needed to complete the concrete rehabilitation project on the road .
The project began June 3 from the railroad bridge overpass near 11th Street Southwest to 7th Street, and on Dolson Street to 6th Street Southeast.
The Willmar project was one of three district-wide projects to rehabilitate the concrete surfaces to extend the life of the roadway. During the rehabilitation process, crews removed and replaced aged joint sealer and deteriorating concrete panels.
