HIGHWAY 40 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT SET TO BEGIN NEXT WEEK WEST OF WILLMAR

WILLMAR, Minn. - The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced today that, weather permitting, improvements to Highway 40 west of Willmar will get underway next week.

According to Jim Christensen, Mn/DOT project supervisor, plans call to overlay Highway 40 from County Road 47 to the Kandiyohi county line. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be complete in three working days.

Motorists will encounter minor delays in this area and instructions from flaggers.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to slow down in the work zone.
