HIGHWAY 12 DETOUR BEGINS TODAY WEST OF WILLMAR

WILLMAR, Minn. - The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced today that Highway 12 beginning at the railroad bridge just west of 11th Street to the east city limits of Pennock is closed to through traffic. Detour barricades were in place at 11:00 a.m. today (May 1).

Highway 12 motorists will be detoured to Highway 40 and County Road 7. The detour adds approximately 3.5 miles.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
