HIGHWAY 75 BETWEEN
MADISON AND ODESSA
RE-OPENED TODAY
WILLMAR,
Minn. - Highway 75 between junction Highway 40 at Madison to junction
Highway 7 near Odessa reopened today (October 24). Barricades were
removed at 9:30 a.m. today.
The highway
had been detoured since May 14 to complete a $2,200,000 bituminous
overlay and bridge replacement project. According to Jeff Vlaminck,
project engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation,
the road will be open to traffic, however, construction crews will
still be in the area to complete shoulder work. Motorists should
be prepared for minor delays through the end of October.
Mn/DOT encourages travelers to slow down, stay alert and be patient
while traveling through the work zone.
