Willmar, Minn. - Weather permitting, the bituminous overlay and bridge replacement project on Highway 75 between junction Highway 40 at Madison to junction Highway 7 near Odessa will begin the week of May 14.

It will be necessary to detour traffic during the project. According to Jim Christensen, project supervisor at the Minnesota Department of Transportation, traffic will be detoured via Highway s 40, 119 and 7 (see map). The detour route adds approximately 15 miles.

The prime contractor for the $2,200,000 improvement project is Mark Sand and Gravel, Fergus Falls, Minn. The project is expected to be complete in mid-October.
