Willmar,
Minn. - Motorists will encounter minor delays as crews begin improvements
to Highway 59 from Fulda to Slayton beginning the week of May 7.
According to
Minnesota Department of Transportation officials, plans call to
begin turn lane construction at Highway 30 and also at 28th Street
the week of May 7. Paving will begin the week of May 14. Weather
permitting, project will be completed by the end of June.
Mn/DOT reminds
motorists to slow down, stay alert and follow instructions from
flaggers in the work zone. Fines for speeding double in work zones.
The prime contractor
for the $746,000 project is Central Specialties of Alexandria, Minn.
