Willmar,
Minn. - Motorists will encounter minor delays as crews begin an
overlay project on Highway 14 from the state line to north junction
Highway 75 at Lake Benton the week of May 14.
Weather permitting,
work will get underway the week of May 14 and the project is expected
to be complete in early June, according to Paul Jurek, project supervisor
at the Minnesota Department of Transportation office in Marshall.

Motorists are
reminded to slow down, stay alert and follow instructions from flaggers
in the work zone. Fines for speeding double in work zones.
The prime contractor
for the $500,000 safety improvement project is Central Specialties
Inc. of Alexandria, Minn.
