WILLMAR,
Minn. - According to Kelly Brunkhorst, project engineer at the Minnesota
Department of Transportation, Highway 19, west of Redwood Falls
is open to traffic. Mn/DOT crews removed the barricades this morning
(October 11).
The highway
has been detoured since the week of May 14 for a mill and overlay
and box culvert extension project. Due to the length of this project,
two detours were installed.
According to
Kelly Brunkhorst, turf establishment work will continue under traffic.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, stay alert and give workers
plenty of room to work in the work zone. Fines for speeding double
in work zones.

for the $7,100,000 improvement project was Duininck Bros. Inc.,
