HIGHWAY
212 BETWEEN DANUBE AND OLIVIA OPEN TO TRAFFIC
Willmar,
Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation office in Hutchinson
announced today that U.S. Highway 212 between Olivia and Danube
is open to traffic. Barricades were removed at 10:45 a.m. today
(September 19).
According
to Kelly Brunkhorst, project engineer, the highway had been closed
since August 1. The $972,000 project included construction of three
right turn lanes, installing edge drains and a mill and overlay
of the existing bituminous between the east city limits of Danube
and west junction U.S. Highway 71.
